Marketing Specialist

Key Purpose of Role:

The marketing specialist will transform the energy sector by leading multiple marketing disciplines to position Thundergrid/Landis+Gyr at the forefront of the EV industry. The role will be responsible for content strategy in crafting compelling narratives for technical solutions, managing social media strategy to grow market presence, and driving marketing strategies with partners such as agencies, customers, that elevate the Thundergrid/Landis+Gyr brand in the industry.

 

Marketing and Communications

• Translate complex technical solutions into captivating stories that resonate with target audience.

• Develop and execute social media campaigns that increase engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation.

• Coordinate and manage contractors, agencies, and freelancers to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives.

• Develop, implement, and refine marketing strategies to drive brand recognition and customer acquisition.

• Cultivate relationships with industry influencers, manage press releases, and oversee media relations to enhance Thundergrid’s reputation.

• Deliver all marketing activities for the achievement of short and long term business objectives, ensuring compliance with the company standards, relevant regulations, and protection of the company’s public image.

• Monitor and analyze market trends as well as customer and competitor activity to identify market opportunities and threats. Plan and execute events, conferences, and webinars to showcase company solutions and engage with clients and prospects.

• Contribute towards the overall L+G marketing and communications strategy as required.

• Align marketing and branding planning, activities and budgeting with APAC Head Marketing communication to ensure global/regional Consistency in messaging, design concept etc.

 

Professional Experience

• 3 years proven experience in marketing within the energy, technology, or cleantech sector.

• Hands on experience with integrated marketing campaigns, LinkedIn campaigns and having knowledge of SEO is a plus.

• Beginners knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Hubspot is a plus.

• Strong knowledge in social media skills

• Excellent storytelling and communication abilities.

• Exposure to marketing strategy development.

• Project management skills, especially in event planning.

• Strong organizational and communication skills

 

Qualifications and Additional Requirements

•Excellent customer service, time management, problem solving and documentation skills.

• Outstanding communication skills - ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and external stakeholders, with written or spoken word.

• Proactive “can do” attitude.

• Effective listening, constructive advice and the ability to understand others
