Project Coordinator

General Summary:

This position is responsible for coordinating/facilitating activities and tasks associated with logistics, supply chain, invoices, and material tracking. As part of a project team, manage the logistics aspects of material orders, material invoices, vendor invoicing, vendor safety reporting.  As part of the project team and under the direction of the Program Manager, input shipping order, monitor shipments, report logistics and installation vendor metrics

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in communicating with customer, project team, program team
  • Provide excellent communications between internal, logistics and business groups as well as external customer groups
  • Coordinate shipment scheduling of AMI materiel including network, endpoints, parts, supplies
  • Provide shipment schedules, weekly shipping schedules, report monthly shipping performance to plan.  Identify deltas in supply and demand.
  • Manage or coordinate timely invoices of materiel, licensing, service contracts
  • Insure all sales order and purchase order processing is completed
  • Coordinate activities on special small team projects
  • Develop and document processes for project team
  • Monitor project schedules.  Identify schedule slips, critical path, and upcoming targets.  Complete weekly updates
  • Create and provide quantitative reports, metrics for deployment, AMI, network, communication performance and performance to SLAs.  Publish metrics on a weekly basis.
  • Analyze metrics to identify trends and areas of concern
  • Represent company in a positive, professional, enthusiastic manner when working with internal and external customers
  • Perform other responsibilities assigned or required

 

 

Education and Experience (include required Certifications, if any):

  • Associates Degree and 4 years of project coordination or technical support experience in an electronic technology related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred experience with PMI, MS Project, Excel and Word.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must possess and demonstrate excellent time management, communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be proactive, but be able to perform in fast paced, high profile and changing environment. 
  • Must be a self-starter and have an aptitude for learning new technology and interest in implementing multiple technical applications
  • Must have critical thinking and problem solving skills

Pay is in the range of $61,600 - $89,035 per year.  The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus.  The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.  All candidates are encouraged to apply.
