Key Responsibilities

  • Manage aspects of subcontractor relationships including reviewing invoices, authorizing payments, interpreting contracts, and resolving disputes. Monitor material orders, shipment schedules, and technical performance against contract terms and conditions.
  • Provide operational input in pre-planning the installation, deployment, and operation of AMI deployment projects.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for material orders, logistics, Invoicing, and billing.
  • Communicate and work effectively within the project/program team and the order fulfillment team.
  • Maintain exceptional customer engagement skills.
  • Oversee metering endpoint deployment efforts.
  • Escalate network issues for effective problem resolution.
  • Participate in joint Landis+Gyr/Customer project meetings and provide status updates as required.
  • Participate in the development of reporting applications and reports.
  • Analyze and respond to system reports, conduct testing, triage failures, and dispatch repair crews as needed.
  • Provide excellent communication between affected groups such as order fulfillment, logistics, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Create and provide quantitative reports periodically to confirm acceptable progress of deployment project. Reports will contain sufficient detail to demonstrate areas of concern or problems.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Individual must possess and demonstrate excellent knowledge of and competency in managing logistics and ordering processes, including planning tasks and issues management, as well as communication skills, technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks daily.
  • Individual must be fluent in software and Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.   
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, create PowerPoint presentations
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry; apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 
  • Personal Computer knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Keyboard/typing skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

 

Accountabilities

  • Assignments may vary in length and complexity but are generally not permanent.
  • Does not supervise staff but may provide work direction to or collaborate with individuals supporting a project.

 

Education and Experience

  • Associate degree and 4 years of project coordination or technical support experience in an electronic technology-related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay is in the range of $61,600- $89,305 per year.  The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus.  The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.  All candidates are encouraged to apply.
