This position is responsible for managing pricing, cost savings outlooks, supplier selection on new products, supply continuity and supplier relationships with Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) partners, and internal customers. The position will also be the key interface between the team located in Reynosa, Mexico, suppliers and the Global Procurement organization. This position will report directly into the Director of Strategic Sourcing, NAM.

Responsibilities/Processes:

• Responsible for all quoting and costing of products utilizing EMS services
• Support in supplier selection for New Product Introductions (NPI) or product reassignment based on need
• Responsible for all cost savings outlooks and cost budgeting for products assigned.
• Identify, create and support or lead, as appropriate, negotiations for products being produced by EMS partners
• Support contract creation and maintenance for suppliers assigned
• Expedite critical shortages by working with EMS partners and e-component, Plastics and Metals Suppliers.
• Improve supplier performance by creating, scheduling and holding QBRs. Maintain Action Item List from QBRs
• Create, distribute and compile scorecards for QBRs
• Serve as liaison between Global Procurement organization with the leadership team in Mexico on supplier costing, support and selection activities
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required
• To work according of the I.M.S. (Integrated Management System) including ISO 9K, 14K, 18K, 27K, and 22301

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Manangement, business, or related field with 5-10 years in experience within a procurement organization. Manufacturing knowledge is desired. Experience in sourcing and managing EMS providers. International sourcing experience preferred.

• APICS or ISM certification desired
