Quality IMS Engineer

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design & implement the IMS, ensuring alignment with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, 22301, 27001, ISO 45001 & ISO14001) & relevant regulaty & customer requirements. 

Support IMS Management, which includes ensuring that corrective and preventive actions are issued as required, properly investigated, documented, effective, and completed on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop IMS documentation, including policies, procedures, work instructions, forms & templates, to establish a clear framework for processes & practices
  • Conduct regular internal audits to assess the effectiveness & compliance of the IMS processes & procedures
  • Identify risks & areas for improvement & work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions & preventive measures
  • Manage and give support to users in Corrective and preventive action process and Continuous Improvement
  • Execute continuous imprevement/green belt initiatives through trend management methodology aligned to the Zero-defect initiative
  • Applyfundamental quality standards and procedures for processing materials into partially finished or finished products at the production environment
  • Develops, updates, and maintains documents for ISO 9K, 14K, 45K, ISO 27K, and 22301 standards and in accordance with business requirements
  • Responsible to assist with customer communication (root cause analysis, corrective actions and required certificates)
  • Identify and communicate improvements early in the product development process
  • Develop, implement and maintain a quality system for the products under his responsibility

Required Skills:

  • ISO Standards, VDA, shop floor auditing
  • Quality tools
  • QEHS System, standards and procedures
  • Continuous improvement projects, methods, tools
  • Understanding Requirements and Specifications
  • Bilingual English (90%)
  • Excellent communications (including the ability to make detailed technical reports)
  • Sense of urgency

Required Experience:

  • Minimum years of experience: 3+ years
  • Highly experienced in a quality related role within a manufacturing company
  • VDA 6.3 or ISO 9001 Auditor with proven process auditing skills
  • Good understanding of process mapping, evaluation and control
  • Certified ISO and/or VDA auditor
  • Certified Six-Sigma Green Belt
  • Advanced skills in applying Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, CAPA, SCAR
  • Required minimum level of education: Bachelor's degree Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial/Mechatronic Engineering
