The Manufacturing Technician will be required to perform routine predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs for manufacturing equipment and support operations to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities:

• Operate, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all mechanical and electrical equipment as required
• Trouble shoot provlem in the event of equipment failure and recommend parts or solutions for effective repairs
• Set up, calibrate, test, measure and repair all types of electrical controls,, instruments, and electronic components
• Performs mechanincal repairs in production equipment
• Monitors and maintains test equipment to ensure effective and efficient service
• Collects equipment operation history and data to facilitate reliability improvements
• Takes corrective action with people, parts and tools to minimize downtime
• Take preventive action with equipment to prolong life
• Use predictive maintenance and historical equipment data to understand and forecast equipment maintenance, replacement and performance
• Maintain and control work order system and spare parts inventory
• Develops operating procedures for facility equipment to ensure consistent and safe operation
• Trains and develips other employees in performing preventive maintenance and routine equipment service activities
• Apply automation improvements on production lines (need to work with PLC, HMI, PIC and Robots)
• To work according of the I.M.S. (Integrated Management System) which includes ISO 9K, 18K, 14K, 27K, and 22301

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of PLC's and robots programing
• Knowledge in electricity
• English 50%
• Knowledge of mechanics (Hidrahulic / Neumatics)
• Basic Computer skills
• Good oral and written communications skills

Required Experience:

• 3-7 years of manufacturing experience performing predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance, and performing instrumentation and equipment troubleshooting
• Technical career in electronics/electricity or mechanics and/or position experience
