Are you ready for a new challenge in Accounting? You will work independently on the assigned L+G entity, with many opportunities to showcase your knowledge and expertise. You would join a stable and collaborative GL team, always looking for improvements and ways to level up our operations, so your opinion will count.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing books of a L+G entity, running accounting operations, account reconciliations, month end closing and reporting.

• ME closing: you will ensure timely closing and accurate month-end reporting, you will demonstrate understanding of impacts of various entries on the balance sheet.

• Improvement of processes and policies: by providing insights and ideas, and by managing assigned short-term projects.

• Business partnering: you need to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, preparing ad-hoc analysis mainly for CFOs and Head of Accounting.

• Compliance: delivering monthly B/S reconciliations, adhering to Accounting policies, providing documentation supporting journal entries, meeting internal KPIs and SLAs towards internal customers, supporting internal and external audits.

• Specifics based on local entity requirements might include preparation of timely tax declarations and local tax filing, local reporting, fixed assets accounting operations, and other activities.

• You will join a highly collaborative team, being a strong team player is essential.

• Our IT landscape is fairly standardized across EMEA Finance, experience with any of our systems is a plus, but not mandatory (main systems: SAP, Cognos, Business Warehouse).

• Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS frameworks is expected.

Our expectations:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Management is preferred 

• Relevant experience in Accounting (GL, financial reporting) min. 3 -5 years

• Knowledge of SAP (SAP BW or Cognos or other consolidation tool is a plus)

• Flexibility and client-oriented personality

• Detail and process oriented, organized, and with an analytic mindset

• Ability to solve urgent matters and meet deadlines

• Open-minded friendly approach, active attitude in fast changing environment

• Advanced level of English
