Our EMEA Finance has identified an exciting job opportunity for a finance professional who is experienced in accounting and controlling and keen to further develop as finance analyst with main focus on current and future financial systems and reporting tools.

The main mission is to to support EMEA finance functions in understanding and analyzing financial and business systems to enable consistent and accurate financial data consolidation and reporting. You would play a key role in all activities in the preparation of periodical reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and the Outlook process from the systems & tools perspective. Furthemore, you would assist EMEA finance organization with maintenance and continuous improvement of analytics and tool and thus contribute to an efficient long-range and short-range forecast process within EMEA.

 

Your focus areas will be:

 

Month-end, quarter-end, year-end closing activities for the EMEA region

  • Monthly closing & Management reporting: Ensure actual financial data for EMEA region flow between ERP, planning and consolidation tools in a timely, complete and accurate fashion.
  • Planning: supports EMEA FP&A team to ensure outlook and budget data are submitted and uploaded to financial systems in a timely and correct fashion
  • Analytics: Identifies root causes of any issues encountered and follows up with relevant stakeholders to successful elimination of each issue.
  • Continuous improvement: Works with IT and other stakeholders to improve financial reporting and planning processes, from automation, speed, accuracy perspective

Internal Controls and Compliance

  • Supports the internal control activities as set out by the Group including the related systems, controls, procedures, and documentation.
  • Supports the regular monitoring of the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance processes

 

  

We would like you to bring:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in general finance and accounting or equivalent position in a multinational company
  • Advanced experience and knowledge of finance processes and financial systems
  • Willingness to learn and develop yourself and your colleagues with the right leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to details, conflict resolution skills, big picture thinking and vision, self-responsibility, and internal customer orientation
  • Experience with share service function is an advantage.
  • Experience in working in an international/virtual/geographically dispersed team.
  • High level of integrity, commitment, and responsibility
  • Accustomed to working under pressure and with deadlines.
  • Able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to motivate and drive a team
