Key Purpose of Role:

 

The Account Manager (AM) position is responsible for maximizing revenue from key client accounts in order to achieve agreed revenue targets/ sales quotas and ensure complete customer satisfaction when dealing with the organization. 

 

We are looking at canddiates having extensive expereince in Account Management  - 10 to 20 years . Have worked with ICT insdustry , Telecom , 

ITES , Industrial Automation , Energy Management , Smart Metering , SAAS based solutions etc.

Should have good expereince in Australian Market

 

Areas of Responsibility:
Retain Account

• Provide monthly reports utilizing performance against budget, forecast and projected figures.  • Monitor in-house procedures through key performance indicators and minimize exposure to risk.
• Provide a professional and credible company image in the market place in keeping with company policy.
• Oversee the administration of contracts with regard to customer related modifications and changes in delivery or commercial conditions.
• Maintain and analyze records of order volumes, price fluctuations and competitor activity
• Liaise with other department managers on issues likely to affect Landis + Gyr, such as technical issues, cost trends, plant loading, and quality.
• Liaise between the marketing and product management on customer and product related issues.
• Liaise and cooperate with other departments within Landis + Gyr for maximum effectiveness of the business. 
 

Build Account
• Formulating, implementing and managing strategic business plans regarding one or a small number of client accounts to achieve Sales revenue/ sales quota targets • Works closely with the Account Director to determine current and future sales plans are met and exceeded
• Ensure that products and services are sold in accordance with budgeted objectives to obtain maximum profitability, having regard to manufacturing capacity and plant loading.
• Recommend and where authorized implement price levels of tenders submitted by Landis + Gyr taking into account risk, need, budget targets and profitability in accordance with approved limits of authority.
• Establish in consultation with the Account Director the annual sales and sales expense budgets.
• Advise and assist customers where applicable and monitor their training needs.
• Organize the development and training of customers to meet the present and future needs of Landis + Gyr.


Grow Account
• Seek out sales opportunities for Landis + Gyr products and services in the sales region, formulate and implement strategies and plans for securing those sales opportunities 

• Assist in identifying new product opportunities based on customer needs
• Facilitate the accurate and timely preparation of tenders, quotations and order processing.  

 

Team Member and Support
• Provide motivation, direction and counselling to the staff of the Sales and Customer Service Department. 

• Promote Landis + Gyr products within the sales expense budget by means such as websites, brochures, pamphlets, feature trade articles, exhibitions, and travel and/or entertaining as appropriate.
• Implement the Quality, Safety and Environmental Management system and ensure employees comply with the standards and legislative requirements.

 
Site Specific Duties • Perform routine quality & safety audits to ensure site is compliant with the quality & safety management system
• Ensure building inspections are performed in accordance with published plans (fire extinguishers, evacuation drills, etc)
• Assist with maintenance of the integrated management system

• Maintain awareness of identified and potential health and safety, quality and environmental aspects within the workplace and their impact, including the reporting of any accidents/incidents/near misses or hazards
• Act responsibly to meet the objectives/requirements at the appropriate level as described in the Health, Safety and Integrated Management Systems.

• Performance in this role is measured via the following sales targets:        

o Protecting the run-rate revenue streams 
o Achieving revenue growth targets
o Achieving aggregated gross margin targets       

o Meeting “offering/capability/profit’ expectations via Solution Fit/NPV as measured by L+G financial and analyses metrics
 

Customer Satisfaction

• Meet Customer/Team Engagement expectations as measured by Marketing & Portfolio Management & Projects & Services Delivery teams.
 

Reporting
• Provide relevant, accurate and timely information and KPI reporting as per agreed deadlines and monthly budget reports and forecasting to Accounts.
