Landis+Gyr’s Global Technology Office is looking for Senior Frontend Engineer with strong hands-on experience with Frontend development (with some full stack background). You will play a key role and will be responsible for designing, developing web applications, RESTful APIs and integrating them with workflow processing systems using the latest frameworks, technologies, and toolsets. You will also work with other application teams to guide them to deliver scalable, reliable, efficient, and performant applications based on sound engineering practices and principles. In this role, you will play a major role in setting the technical direction, and leading effort in developing scalable and performant frontend services and systems for Landis+Gyr’s new Electric Vehicles and Demand Flexibility Management software solutions. Expertise And Skills You Bring

•            A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Software Engineering, IT, Computer Science and 6-8 years of professional work experience the following areas

•            React Native, React JS experience, including providing multi-platform mobile applications

•            Proficient in Angular JS or Ember JS

•            Knowledge of AppCenter or any equivalent build automation for mobile apps

•            Ability to use REST API & read OpenAPI / Swagger documentation

•            Demonstrated ability leading and building Rich Internet Applications (RIA) and RESTful services using agile development practices.

•            Socket.IO experience

•            Experience with object-oriented programming principles and standard design patterns.

•            Passionate about writing clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code with a test-first development approach.

•            Proficient working in an Agile Software Development environment

•            Experience with source code and project administration tools such as GIT, JIRA.

•            Experience working with deployment and version control methologies like  CICD pipeline, EKS, Docker, kubernetes,etc

•            Familiar with languages such as Java/C#, Python, and Rub is a plus

•            Experience with any cloud based workflow processing system, Google cloud services (GCP) is a plus.

•            Experience designing and developing RESTful services using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Swagger, Docker, YAML, JSON. – Good To have

•            Utility, Energy, Industrial Automation industry experience is a plus
