We are looking for a business analyst to be part of agile software teams. The Business Analyst is responsible for enabling high quality business solutions in an Agile context that deliver value-based business outcomes. Our solutions are focused on advanced analytics and AI/ML technology to help our utility clients realize the potential of big data and artificial intelligence.

Experience: 3 - 5 years

The Business Analyst works as part of the development/delivery team to facilitate clear and open communication between business stakeholders, developers, and the product owner. Main responsibilities for a business analyst include:

• Engage with subject matter experts to identify and develop user stories with business-driven acceptance criteria and test cases

• Proactively support the uplift of Agile practices and foster a culture of continual service improvement

• Support team members with their understanding of user stories and Agile methodologies

• Participate in and help facilitate relevant Agile ceremonies and rituals

• Utilize Agile methodologies for analysis and testing

Expectations for Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering Business or related field, or equivalent industry experience.

• Experience creating user stories and working with software developers to create technical specifications is a bonus.

• Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as SAFe, to deliver solutions is also a bonus.

• Complex Problem Solving – identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement new ones.

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple initiatives and rapidly changing priorities
