Project Manager will lead multiple complex global cross-functional development teams driving software, firmware, and hardware related initiatives from concept through deployment to customers. They will develop and lead the execution of joint project plans in a high-volume, electronics product development environment based on internal product lifecycle processes and industry best practices.
Candidate will lead global cross-functional projects, working with and leading project resources not under direct control. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of all stages of the product development life cycle with a deep understanding of hardware & firmware development. Strong experience and proven track record in Scope Management. Work with vendors to develop contracts and SOW''s, managing those vendors and the execution of those contracts and SOW''s.
Demonstrable experience executing multiple complex projects within a stage gate process to ensure that all deliverables are completed and approved by project stakeholders. The project manager will be working with global cross functional teams to ensure products are launched on time and within budget.
Required Skills:
Hands on experience in project management leading successfully.
Strong assertive leadership of project teams to success in delivering New Product Introduction (NPI) with budget and on time.
Successful project delivery through innovative, inquisitive and resolute leadership of the project and the ability to make decisions without perfect information.
Experience with gathering & understanding business requirements that define project scope for software, firmware and hardware programs.
Extensive experience with budget planning, tracking and financial accountability for projects.
Extensive experience in change control & risk management methodologies. Ability to accept change & identify risks to formulate response to setbacks with minimal disruptions.
Ability to positively influence others without direct authority to move assigned projects forward.
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, & listening).
Strong negotiating skills for working with stakeholders.
A deep understanding of Product Development Life Cycle Methodology Phases.
Expertise in project management scheduling SW tools (Microsoft project/Sciforma, Microsoft Teams).
Strong ability to resolve conflicts successfully within the project team while retaining a collaborative working environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a global matrixed organization.
Strong understanding of development methodologies (Waterfall & Agile) and increment release planning.
Strong working knowledge of stage gate methodology.
Professional Experience and Qualification
10+ years of experience in project management leading product development
5+ years of experience in the utility, telecommunications or similarly regulated industries is a plus.
PMP Certified or similar
4 Year Degree
Strong working knowledge of stage gate methodology
Ability to travel up to 25% -30%.

Pay is in the range of XY per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
