Deputy Manager - HR ( Payroll & Compliance)

Role & responsibilities (Payroll, C&B & Compilances)

 

  • Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislation (pay equity, human rights, etc)
  • End-to-end payroll processing, including time office, attendance of employees, salary calculations, deductions, and benefits administration, such as provident fund, insurance, and healthcare plans.
  • Preparing payroll reports, including income tax returns and provident fund filling, ESIC.
  • Conducting regular payroll audits and ensuring compliance with Indian labour laws, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records, including attendance, leaves, and personal information.
  • Handling basic tasks related to administration including grievances handling of employees and labours, housekeeping, security, etc.
  • Processing new hires, terminations, promotions, and other employee status changes in the payroll system, to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

 

Preferred candidate profile

  • MBA Full time (Speacialization in HR)
  • Proven working experience in manufacturing industry will considerable.
  • Familiarity with payroll-related aspects of Indian labour laws, such as the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Act, the Employees State Insurance (ESI) Act and the Professional Tax Act.
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and time and attendance systems. Preferrably SAP - Successfactor
  • Having a good communication skill , presentable skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing payroll regulations and implement necessary updates
  • Experience range 8 to 10 years
  • Work experience in Global setup is good to have
  • Excellent skill in Excel and MIS reporting
