MISSIONS :

''PCB Designer Activities'':

Installation, administration, and maintenance of ECAD tools (CADENCE and Altium Designer)

Administering the CADENCE Component Library

Support for Altium France users (schematics, ...)

Creation of CADENCE components in accordance with design standards (datasheet, IPC standards,

etc.)

Using the ALTIUM NEXUS Component Library (managed by ECAD team)

Consideration and definition of complex stress sets during the creation of the electronic schematic in collaboration with hardware, mechanical, ...

Creation and verification of the bill of materials (BOM) in collaboration with the hardware design office

Design of double-sided and multilayer PCBs in compliance with IPC standards (see tables or doc) and taking into account electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements

Good knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes

Good knowledge of EMS manufacturing processes and component placement and routing rules

Generation of PCB manufacturing files (gerber) and ordering of prototypes

Management of the Manufacturing of "Prototype" PCBAs with EMS

Generation of the "production" PCBA documentation as well as the manufacturing files in accordance with the procedures in force (Data Package DPK)

Constant exchanges with different departments of the company (R&D, purchasing, production, etc.)

in order to meet customer requirements

Consideration of requests for PCBA improvements from EMS (DFM, DFX, ...) in order to reduce manufacturing

costs

Migration from "CADENCE" PCBAs to "ALTIUM" based

''BOM management activities'':

1st level support for designers when searching for components in the SAPPLM database

Creation/update of components via group process (CCM, ECO, ECR, etc.) for projects in France

Check that the components chosen by the hardware designers are in line with the Group Procurement

guidelines and take into account the Reach and RoHS standards

Creation of the PCBA bill of materials in SAPPLM via the "Bom Loader tool"

Extraction of data following internal requests via reports tools (MPN, Rohs, Reach, Ownership, ...)

Placing orders with component distributors (RadioSpare, Mouser, ...) for the production of prototypes

''HW Tester Activities'':

Research and validation of second sources in the project phase.

Carrying out pre-qualification tests on all products (hubs, meters and modems).

Writing test reports.

Support to the test team during the qualification phases.

Training:

Bac +2 (minimum) senior electronics technician

 

Experience:

Experience in a senior technician position specialized in electronics

 

COMPETENCES:

  1. Knowledge of electronics
  2. Have a good ability to work in a team: good interpersonal skills, open-mindedness, adaptability.
