The Radio Frequency (RF) Technician III is responsible for the daily analysis, coordination, and execution of maintenance activities relating to the RF Network (Cell Masters, MicroCell Controllers, Repeaters, Meters, and telecommunications).

 

Primary Statement of Duties

Supports the project in the deployment and maintenance of the wireless network including endpoints
On call and may be required to work weekends and holidays as required 
Uses a laptop computer, proprietary, and nonproprietary software and hardware to communicate with the network and endpoint devices 
Supports and adheres to Company’s core values
Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required
Supports and adheres to Company’s code of conduct and Ethics Policy
Represents Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both internal and external customers

 

Education and Experience

Required minimum level of Education:  High School/Equivalent
Required minimum years of Experience:  2+ - 5

Experience in MS Office packages as well as ability to understand and learn customized computer software. Knowledge in UNIX, Oracle, QHSE is required.  

Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license.  

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge in UNIX, Oracle, and QHSE is required.
Must be able to work wearing safety equipment. 
Must be able to work on ladders and in inclement weather     
Personal Computer knowledge
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Keyboard/typing skills
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

 

Working Conditions

Typical field work environment; occasionally interacting with external customers/clients. Outdoor work in inclement weather conditions possible. Requires ability to consistently drive to various work sites. 

Driving Status:  Will drive a vehicle on a daily basis for the Company.

Typical field setting. Regularly stand; walk; crouch; climb ladders or handle objects.  Regularly lift and/or move 20 pounds; up to 45 pounds. Ability to work in open envmt. w/external noise and other distractions. Ability to see, hear, & speak in English.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and meet weight restrictions (270 lbs) for bucket trucks. Must be able to work wearing safety equipment. Must be able to work on ladders and in inclement weather.
