What we are looking for:


This is an opportunity for a strong generalist HR professional, to join an industry leader in the realm of energy management. As a member of the ANZ and SEA leadership team, your role will involve partnering with the business on the delivery of end to end employee life cycle events, manage HR/IR matters, policies and procedures to support the organisational strategic goals and continuous improvement initiatives.


Currently in the planning phase of establishing an Asia Pacific (APAC) HR Shared Services Centre (HR SSC) based in Noida, India and a centralised Talent Acquisition function, your role will be working with the team to transition the local HR administrative activities and work in partnership with the APAC HR SSC and the Talent Acquisition teams and the business.


Key Responsibilities:


Reporting to the Head of Head of Human Resources, Asia Pacific, your main responsibilities include:

  • Providing support, coaching and advice to managers and employees and being a trusted advisor to the respective business leaders and associated teams on all people related matters in accordance with relevant policy, legislation, industrial instruments and best practice;
  • Working in collaboration with stakeholders to focus on talent management and development, with a strong focus of growing the skills, knowledge, and experience;
  • Being a champion of employee engagement in ANZ-SEA, coordinating the local rollout of the global employee engagement surveys and ensuring follow-up actions are defined and integrated into the business;
  • Managing the local coordination of the talent acquisition, recruitment and selection activities;
  • Managing the annual people processes cycle including the annual goal setting, performance reviews, and remuneration review processes;
  • Continuously looking for new opportunities to improve HR processes with a focus on streamlining, leveraging technology and increasing quality within the HR function;
  • In collaboration with APAC HR SSC, coordinating data changes, ensuring employee data is kept up to date in our global HRIS tool (Success Factors) and local payroll system.


Skills and Capabilities:


To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with proven HR generalist experience in a building effective relationships with managers and senior stakeholders to drive and delivery HR programs.


You will hold a degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or related field and your capabilities will including:

  • Sound knowledge of HR policies, procedures and systems;
  • High level of skill in performance management, employee development, reward and recognition, and change management;
  • Proven experience in Australian employee relations and/or industrial relations and sound knowledge of industrial (awards) and OHS laws (including workers compensation);
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Well developed consulting skills, problem solving and case management;
  • Sound influencing and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities;
  • HRIS experience (e.g. SuccessFactors) and payroll systems (e.g. PayGlobal, SAP) would be an advantage.
