PMO Manager, Electro-Mechanical Products, The Americas

Do you have an Electro-Mechanical background?  Can you manage Project Managers? Have you standardized an organization’s project management processes? Are you a visionary?

We are looking for a charismatic, organized, professional PMO Manager to help us get our regional team on the same page. Someone who can communicate across cultures, countries, and languages.  A bench marker, bringing best practices together from multiple sources. Creating a team centric organization of world class project professionals.

 Key Responsibilities

• Standardizing project management policies, principles, & procedures
• Coaching and developing world class project and program managers
• Ensuring correct methodologies and tools are being applied for each project
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives through trend analysis and metrics management.
• Partnering and collaborating directly with stake holders (local, regional, and global as appropriate) to ensure PMO governance is effectively and efficiently being delivered.
• Working with Project/Program Managers to review and monitor project health.
• Creating Dashboards & implementing metrics
• Creating roadmaps and working with project managers to ensure scope, schedule, cost, and quality baselines are being met
• Creating an energized workplace that promotes learning, open communication, and teamwork
• Identifying and removing impediments that block your team's ability to meet objectives.
• Maintain harmonized and documented project management process for projects
• Implement R&D process tailoring
• Budgetary and Resource capacity planning for current and planned projects
• Maintain team collaboration infrastructure (e.g., IMS, Intranet sites, MOMs, actions log, etc.)
• Perform program management duties for Product releases.
• Experience with new product introduction in a manufacturing environment

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree engineering, business administration, or related
• PMP certification preferred
• Minimum 8 years in product development, manufacturing and/or industrial experience
• 3 years team management experience of at least 3-4 project managers
• Thorough knowledge of the Life Cycle Phases of Project Management
• Development of electronic or electro-mechanical products
• Change Management experience
• Working in a culturally diverse environment – preferably global introduction
• PPM experience - Planview a plus
• Up to 25% travel

Pay is in the range of $106,152 to $169,024.  The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus.  The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
