Landis+Gyr R&D Software is looking for a Software Architect to join the team in Jyväskylä, Finland. The team works in an international environment and collaborates closely with colleagues around the world. 

About the role

As a Software Architect you will be working amongst experienced professionals and have a variety of different tasks. The main tasks of the role include:

- Architecture and definition of technical solutions for systems 
- Creating and maintaining system level architecture for our software products 
- Creating the technical concept and functional description, with input from other stakeholders   
- Providing input to technology roadmaps 
- Innovation and generation of new ideas and concepts in your own area of expertise  

To succeed in this role, you would need to have

- Gained a solid understanding of software architecture design, object-oriented languages (preferably Java), relational databases or modern UI frameworks
- A hands-on attitude, containerization, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, quality assurance practices and identity management are seen as a plus. Your role will be tailored to your skills and interests
- A team player mindset and strong commitment to quality in everything you do
- Fluent English language skills since we work in a truly international environment
- Enthusiasm about your work and eagerness to continuously learn more
