This role is part of Landis+Gyr’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) business, which is expected to become an independent company under new ownership by mid-2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals. CONTEXT:
In the context of retirement, the sales assistant will be responsible, under the authotity of the Sales Director:
Commercial Secretary
- Preparation of commercial reporting for the Head of Sales (Business Review, etc.)
- Prepare slides for the sales director's presentations (Business Review, etc.)
- Regular update of the indicators of the PR02 Process "Customer Relations"
- Customer data management (CRM)
Management of commercial administration:
- Manage the administration for responses to calls for tenders (centralization of documents, etc.)
- Compile and monitor the TC Cost Centre expenditure budget.
- Manage the sales team's travel (invoicing, follow-up, etc.)
- Manage the premises and equipment of Courbevoie (negotiation of the lease, premises, management
of equipment suppliers, mandatory checks, HR relay).
- Management of responses from the generic email address in connection with the external address and/or routing of customer or prospect requests/questions to the appropriate people in the L+G France organization.
Sales Support for Sales:
- In conjunction with the rest of the team, respond to recurring requests for price quotes
Management of sales operations:
- Supervise the processing of customer orders (entry, tracking, delivery, invoicing)
- Ensure compliance of commercial documents (purchase orders, contracts, invoices)
- Manage customer disputes (delays, errors, credits, complaints)
- Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) related to the sales activity
Initiative Marketing :
- Develop articles (e.g. Success Stories) for the intranet site and the EMEA Marketing team.
- Organize customer events and trade shows.
Internal coordination:
- Collaborate with sales, logistics, production and finance teams
- Participate in sales planning and inventory management
- Setting up and optimizing sales procedures
Continuous improvement:
- Propose improvement actions to streamline processes
- Participate in cross-functional projects (digitalization, ERP, CRM)
