As the EMEA Strategy & Portfolio Manager at Landis+Gyr, you will play a central role in shaping the strategic direction of our business in the EMEA region. This role combines market intelligence, business planning, and portfolio strategy to drive data-based decision-making and long-term value creation. You will lead all regional strategy initiatives, optimize how we collect and report market data, support M&A projects, and provide strategic support to Product Management, including business cases and portfolio strategy development.

Working closely with cross-functional teams — including Sales, Product Management, Finance, and Operations — you will turn insights into action to strengthen our market position and deliver end-to-end value to customers.

Your main responsibilities will among others include:

• Lead and coordinate all EMEA strategy initiatives, ensuring alignment with regional priorities
• Conduct market research in the energy and utility business 
• Provide competitive intelligence to support strategic portfolio planning and market opportunities identification
• Support Product Management with business case development and strategic input
• Prepare strategic content, presentations, and reports for senior management
• Drive and support strategic projects and M&A assessments within the EMEA context
• Optimize the collection, structuring, and visualization of market and business data, incl. data handling in relevant internal systems
• Support market data reporting for internal and external communication
• Manage & mentor junior analysts, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality analysis

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field; specialization in Energy is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategy, portfolio management, market analysis, or consulting
• Strong experience in data analysis, business case development, and stakeholder engagement
• Experience in project coordination and Product Management
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated and adaptable team player with a structured and analytical mindset
• Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus
