We are looking for a new colleague to join the Customer Care Management team within the Business Unit Electricity as Devices Support Engineer (Smart Metering EMEA). The position is preferably based in Cham, Switzerland, other locations in Europe can be discussed.
Your main areas of responsibilities will be:
- Managing all aspects of support and maintenance for Landis + Gyr Electricity Devices within the EMEA region
- Managing quality cases, CAPAs, interface to Quality and local technical support organizations
- Maintaining the KPIs as assigned by Business Unit Electricity
- Interfacing with Sales, Product Management and Operations teams to prioritize case work
- Collaborating with global teams to promote and develop process development and continuous improvement
- Providing global technical tender support for customer projects
Your profile:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in technical field (e.g. electronics, IT, Software or equivalent) or other equivalent academic degree
- Proven track record in working in international R&D projects with multiple site connections
- Experience in technical project management, with complex technical documentation and schematics
- Strong communication skills and the ability to represent your project in challenging situations, including customer meetings
- Experience in working in a complex and agile business environment
- Fluent communication and presentation skills in English
Will be considered a plus:
- Power line communication (PLC) and mobile networks experience
- Azure DevOps, Service Now
- DLMS Cosem Client
- Any other spoken language
