Network Analyst I

The role of the Network System Analyst is to provide support for Network devices, Meters and Telecommunications, ongoing network analysis, testing, daily review of all performance reports to ensure adherence to contractual SLA's, troubleshooting of network device and meters.  Act as a liaison for Customer Service, Technical Support, internal and external project teams.

 

Primary Responsibilities:


•    Monitor system anomalies and communicate to the project team in a timely manner.
•    Work with team to ensure all planned deliverables are achieved according to the identified timelines.
•    Employ basic monitoring principles.
•    Resolve and/or direct customer inquiries to the respective project team member.
•    Escalate AE customer issues to Technical Support for advanced troubleshooting and communicate findings to customer and project team member.
•    Represent company in a positive, professional manner when working with both external and internal customer.
•    Supports and adheres to Company’s core values.
•    Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required.
•    Perform On-Call duties, when assigned, to support network maintenance during off hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
•    Manage daily Network Devices and meters exceptions ensuring contractual obligations are met.
•    Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner and follow through to a successful resolution.
•    Travel to other customer sites to assist with RF Tech duties when necessary.
•    Participate in joint Landis+Gyr customer project team meetings and provide status updates as required.
•    Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner and follow through to a successful resolution.

 

Education and Experience: 

 

Associates degree (AA) in electronics, computer science or industry-related field
2+ years of experience in technical customer service/support roles
Meter/utility industry experience strongly preferred

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

•    Proficient in SQL Developer and UNIX/Solaris operating system
•    Strong PC/computer skills with experience with MS Project, Excel and Word.
•    Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
•    Experience in troubleshooting RF networks.
•    Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
•    Ability to work independently as well as a team environment.
•    Valid Drivers License.
