Travel and Expense Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Takes a lead role in the management of Travel & Expense (T&E) reimbursement processing and reconciliation, compliance audits, payment requests, and delinquent expense report review/reporting.
  • Provide updates to the travel policy, concur audit, and update system to align.
  • Ensure adherence to both anti-corruption and travel policies through monitoring and audit.
  • Highly visible position with heavy upper management Involvement.
  • Invoice workflow frontend support: invoice scanning, capture verification, routing, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintenance of employee paid credit program through the JPMorgan PaymentNet system Including new hire setup, monitoring and adjusting credit limits, payment collection efforts, and administration.
  • Liaises with travel partners, banking partners, and program partners to ensure compliance with travel policy.
  • Provide training to new hires and periodic refresher training to all SAP users including US & Japan.
  • Cross-train in Payroll and act as backup. 
  • Special projects as assigned.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with an ability to plan and manage multiple projects and/or tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with Travel and Expense system administration
  • SAP or other ERP processing a plus.
  • Travel system knowledge

  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or associate degree with five (5) years of accounting-related activities.
  • Intermediate skill level of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of data workflows and root cause analysis, accountability, compliance, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
