Position Summary
The Demand Analyst plays a critical role within the organization. This position coordinates the forecasting and demand planning activity within the organization. The demand analyst combines historical trends in demand, product, and the market with forward-looking intelligence to produce an accurate forecast for direct material.
Key Responsibilities:
• Effectively own and drive activities associated with the monthly cycle for Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) at L+G. Establish a working group of stakeholders from appropriate organizations and institute a regular cadence for alignment of supply and demand.
• Perform various data driven functions in relation to S&OP data loads including Data Collection, Cleansing, Mining, Loading, and troubleshooting using a variety of tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
• Initially reviews and analyzes forecast results in relation to business direction. Identifies product or market trends. Provides Business Managers with observations of forecast directions. Reports on Division or Product Family comparisons with budget.
• Assist Supply Chain Analysts and Buyers in maintaining appropriate planning parameters and developing inventory strategies for existing products, new products, and product phase-outs.
• Maintain strong working knowledge of SAP and other planning tools in order to implement continuous improvement measures in the area of forecasting, Materials Resource Planning (MRP), material master data, and purchasing.
• Establishes and maintains forecast performance measurement and evaluation.
• Supports and adheres to Company’s core values.
• Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required.
• Supports and adheres to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy.
• Represents Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both internal and external customers.
Education & Experience:
• Required Minimum Level of Education: Bachelor’s degree
• Required Minimum Years of Experience: 2+ to 5
• Desired Education/Experience: Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with large sets of data, solving complex analytical problems, summarizing, and reporting results, ability to filter and cleanse data SQL, Power Bi, Tableau, SAP (MMPP- Materials Management/Production Planning), Excel

Pay is in the range of $74,817 - $90,120 per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
