Job Summary
This key position enables and accelerates the overall demand to Order (DTO) Process through Commercial Operations, Sales, and Deal Desk functions by supplying accurate and timely Available to Quote (ATQ) information. This role compiles and summarizes timely, accurate and approved information necessary to support proposing/contracting of new or revised products and solutions while acting as a cross-functional team aggregator of go-to-market strategies with/for Product Management (PdM). The position is responsible for studying and understanding upcoming opportunities planned by utilities, identifying trends, and disseminate Sales and Marketing team input to the broader organization. Using this quantitative and qualitative data, you will derive insights that will be used to inform strategic direction and develop business cases to support the development of competitive new products and services which align the corporate technology portfolio with utility needs. By quantifying and documenting the costs and benefits during and post deployment, you will help ensure that utilities realize the expected benefits.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Partners with the Product Management team to bridge New Product Introduction (NPI) into ATQ (Available to Quote):
• Guides capture and sharing of critical information and documentation during the NPI process into the ATQ template to facilitate organized communication.
• Verifies that ATQ items exist and are available, including technical documentation, target markets and related services, costing and pricing, value proposition, part numbers, specific notes to be conveyed to customers at quote, key contractual terms, etc. throughout the NPI process.
• Initiates and sustains cross-functional relationships with Product Management, Technologies PMO, engagement and direct connection with NPI gate flow.
• Partners with Product Management for partner-related offerings which are managed outside the NPI flow.
• Tracks and maintains ATQ status as well as approval flow for products requiring an ATQ exception and gated into Demand-to-Order (DTO) as ATQ.
• Ensures Sales & Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Deal Desk have the necessary details to drive opportunities with non-ATQ and non-GA items during qualification, proposal and contracting activities.
• Conduct win/loss analysis through structured customer and consultant interviews to identify key decision drivers.
• Capture and synthesize insights from interviews to inform strategies that improve proposal quality and overall win rates.
• Compile and maintain quarterly win/loss performance reports, highlighting trends and actionable recommendations.
• Present win/loss findings and strategic implications to senior leadership on a quarterly basis.
• Track and drive open issues to resolution independently or via other company resources and manage customer expectations appropriately.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses to determine utility needs, identify opportunities and develop recommendations for product and services development, expansion, and direction.
• Consolidate utilities’ strategic visions and distill them into easily understood reports and presentations.
• Complete a competitive analysis plan to benchmark Landis+Gyr’s products, solutions, and services to assist with positioning our offerings for winning upcoming opportunities.
• Initiate, develop and sustain relationships with current and potential customers in order to create a channel of communication whereby you can understand their strategic direction.
• Based on market research, advise management about new innovations in the area of market research and create new ways to meet the needs of a changing utility needs.
• Process Improvement: Leads continual improvement projects that simplify how the ATQ works with other organizations in the company.
• Provide feedback and lessons learned from win/loss analysis, ATQ process, and competitive analysis to Solutions team and functional partners, for the purpose of overall improvement in technical sales, product marketing, and full life cycle support of changing customer needs.

Required Education and Experience:
• Four-year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• 5-7 years of similar and related experience

Pay is in the range of $98,122 - $142,088 per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
