Job Summary


Landis+Gyr is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) OTC (Order-to-Cash) Consultant with expertise in Variant Configuration (VC) and SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) to join our Americas SAP Team. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, international team engaged in high-impact SAP projects, including the ongoing SAP S/4HANA transformation.  As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of end-to-end OTC processes, ensuring seamless integration across SAP modules. This position is based in Alpharetta, GA, and involves collaboration with SAP experts across global locations.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:


•    Lead and support the integration of SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, including scope planning, solution deployment, and process optimization across key functional areas such as Customer Order Management, Pricing, Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC), Settlements, AATP, Credit Management, LE-Shipping, Billing, Returns, Credit/Debit Memo Requests, BRF+ Output Management, and Contracts.
•    Drive the implementation and continuous support of SAP Variant Configuration (VC) and Configure, Price & Quote (CPQ) solutions to enable flexible and efficient product configuration.
•    Facilitate business workshops to define, document, and standardize SAP SD OTC processes, including integration with SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).
•    Implement S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD) best practices in collaboration with global and cross-functional teams.
•    Support end-to-end revenue recognition processes including contract lifecycle management, event-based revenue posting, and allocation logic configuration.
•    Configure workflows for subscription billing models, including recurring billing, usage-based billing, and external billing document request (EBDR) integration.
•    Conduct unit and regression testing, and ensure comprehensive quality assurance for all OTC developments and enhancements.
•    Provide user training and develop clear documentation for new processes and system changes.
•    Evaluate change requests, conduct feasibility assessments, and recommend enhancements aligned with business goals.
•    Coordinate and manage external partners or consultants during project and support phases.
•    Act as a key point of contact for incident resolution, collaborating with business users and IT support teams.
•    Ensure compliance with IT General Controls (ITGC) and internal audit requirements.
•    Uphold and demonstrate adherence to the company’s core values, Code of Conduct, and Ethics Policy.

 

 


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


•   10–15 years of professional experience in SAP SD OTC (Order-to-Cash) implementation and support.
•    Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
•    Familiarity with SAP Engineering Change Management and related functionalities is highly desirable.
•    Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and value chain integration.
•    Foundational knowledge of other SAP modules and their integration points (e.g., MM, FI, PP).
•    Proven ability to collaborate and provide functional support across SAP modules and project teams.
•    Prior experience working in a global project environment with cross-functional teams.
•    Demonstrates a structured and proactive work approach, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
•    Effective team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
•    Spanish language skills are a plus and would be beneficial in a multi-regional environment.

 

 


Education and Experience:


•    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and professional experience (10–15 years).
•    Experience with CRM integration is preferred.
•    SAP certification (SD or S/4HANA) is a strong plus.
•    Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM tools and processes.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

 

 

 

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements/Safety/PPE/OHSAS: 


•    Working Conditions: Typical indoor office environment with the majority of time spent sitting and working on a computer using keyboard, mouse, and monitor.  Occasional use of other devices such as: phone, copier/printer/fax, etc. 
  
•    Physical Requirements: Typical office setting. Required to stand, walk; crouch; or handle objects. Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Ability to sit and view computer screen for long periods of time. The ability to see, hear, & speak in English. •    Personal Protection Equipment/Other OHSAS-18001 Safety Requirements: Ensure the continued efforts and assist in achieving annual goals of health, safety, and environmental policies. Must be current with available OSHA/Safety Training provided by the Company. If required, must be able to work while wearing safety equipment such as hard hats, work boats, gloves, hearing protection, and others.

Pay is in the range of $108,923 - $144,788 per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
