Job Summary
Landis+Gyr is seeking a highly motivated SAP Finance and Controlling professional to join our Americas SAP Team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, including integration with OneSource, OpenText, and SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR). This position is based in Alpharetta, Georgia (US) and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment.
In this role, you will:
• Be a key contributor to multiple SAP projects across the Americas.
• Actively participate in our journey to implement SAP S/4HANA.
• Collaborate with a global team of SAP experts located in various regions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and architect SAP Finance & Controlling (FICO) solutions, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) and third-party systems.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead the implementation of OpenText for invoice processing, including configuration and end-to-end integration with SAP.
• Implement and support the OneSource tax engine, ensuring accurate and compliant integration with SAP for tax determination and reporting.
• Develop, document, and execute unit and regression test plans to ensure solution quality and compliance with business requirements.
• Deliver user training sessions and prepare comprehensive documentation to support the rollout of new or enhanced functionalities.
• Coordinate and manage tasks assigned to external consultants and implementation partners, ensuring alignment with project timelines and goals.
• Provide expert-level support for incident resolution, working closely with business key users and IT support teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Ensure adherence to IT General Controls (ITGC), change management protocols, and audit compliance requirements.
• Perform additional duties as required by project leads or supervisors to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Consistently model and uphold the company’s core values, Code of Conduct, and Ethics Policy in all professional interactions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Professional Experience:
• 10–15 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO applications, including implementation, configuration, and support.
• Proven track record in SAP S/4HANA implementations, including multi-country rollouts in global environments.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes across finance and controlling functions.
Core Functional Expertise:
General Ledger (GL):
• Configuration of GL master data, parallel ledger setup.
• Proficient in Period-End Closing activities including Foreign Currency Valuation (FCV).
Accounts Payable (AP):
• Management of vendor master data and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle from PR to MM invoice.
• Experience with Automatic Payment Program (APP), down payments, withholding tax.
• Strong knowledge of MM-FI integration, Logistics Invoice Verification (LIV), and special GL transactions.
Accounts Receivable (AR):
• Configuration of customer master data and SD-FI integration including RAR.
• Experience with customer billing, incoming payment processing, dunning, and FSCM Credit, Collections & Dispute Management.
Bank Accounting:
• Expertise in bank master data and house bank setup.
• Hands-on experience with Lockbox, Cashed Check, Positive Pay, EBS, DMEE, and search string configuration.
Asset Accounting:
• Proficient in asset master data, acquisitions, transfers, retirements, depreciation, and CIP processing.
Project Systems:
• Knowledge of project structures, WBS elements, status management, settlements, and reporting.
Controlling (CO):
• Cost Center Accounting: Configuration of cost centers, activity types, SKFs, and allocations.
• Profit Center Accounting: Hierarchies, actual postings, and financial reporting.
• CO-PA Margin Analysis: Characteristic derivation, actual value flows, and profitability reporting.
Product Costing:
• Standard cost estimates, sales order costing, and production orders.
• Month-end processes: WIP, variance calculations, settlements, Material Ledger, and actual costing
Technical and Cross-Module Knowledge:
• Solid understanding of value flows and integration with MM, SD, and PP modules.
• Ability to perform basic ABAP debugging and support custom developments.
• Experience supporting team members across different SAP modules.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience with SAP FICO implementation and support.
• Hands-on experience with OpenText VIM and OneSource tax engine integration.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
• Relevant SAP certifications are a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of BI, BW Integration will be preferred.
• CPA certification will be preferred.

Pay is in the range of $108,923 - $144,788 per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
