Job Summary:
Landis+Gyr is seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions—driving data-informed decisions and ensuring project success through detailed analysis and strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement or automation
• Lead efforts in data collection, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making
• Support Project Managers in prioritizing tasks and tracking progress
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, training, and presentations with cross-functional teams

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Proficiency in tools such as project management software, A.I. platforms, Microsoft Excel, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment

 

Accountabilities:
• Drive process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending optimized workflows and solutions
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts successfully while maintaining a collaborative environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a global, matrixed organization
• Analyze and interpret complex datasets to support strategic initiatives
• Ability to travel as needed

 

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in a relevant role
• Familiarity with data modeling and process mapping tools

 

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements / Safety / PPE / OHSAS:
Working Conditions: Typical indoor office environment; majority of time spent seated at a computer using keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Occasional use of phone, copier, printer, or fax machine.
Driving Status: Occasional driving required for business travel
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, crouch, and handle objects. May lift or move up to 10 pounds. Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods. Ability to see, hear, and speak in English. Reasonable accommodations will be provided for individuals with disabilities.
Personal Protection Equipment / OHSAS-18001 Safety Requirements: Must support annual goals related to health, safety, and environmental policies. Required to complete OSHA/Safety Training provided by the Company. If necessary, must be able to work while wearing appropriate safety equipment such as hard hats, safety boots, gloves, and hearing protection.

Compensation:
Salary range: $81,851 – $100,287 per year
This position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. Final base salary is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications, years of relevant experience, unique skills, education level, and professional certifications.
