Are you ready to lead and guide our OneSAP business transformation? Landis+Gyr, a global leader in energy management solutions, is seeking a dynamic, experienced, hands-on SAP S4/HANA Program Manager to spearhead the implementation of SAP S4/HANA across the United States, Mexico, Canada, and Japan. Overseeing seventeen (17) cross-functional workstreams, this pivotal role will be instrumental in consolidating seven regional SAP environments into a single, global integrated SAP, harmonizing all relevant aspects, and steering our business towards utilizing the SAP S4/HANA standard architecture, design, and related processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the transformation program to move to SAP S4/HANA globally, consolidating seven regional SAP environments into a single global system. Direct the project through all phases of the project life cycle to post-implementation and optimization, ensuring successful delivery on time, on budget, and with the desired end goals, adoption levels, and benefits. Oversee and act as a primary liaison, providing leadership to an international cross-functional team while ensuring the high performance of our implementation partners and business stakeholders.
  • Lead enterprise-wide change through comprehensive strategic planning, engagement, and communications. Oversee all dimensions of the program, including changes to processes, people, technology, technical standards, policy, organizational structure, job descriptions, etc., and the required change management activities. Guide the business to utilize SAP S4/HANA standard architecture, design, and related processes. Proactively collaborate with the Communications and Change Management team to ensure effective communication and timely implementation of changes, especially related to processes and people.
  • Manage SAP transformation readiness activities (e.g., design and oversee detailed blueprinting activities, data transformation preparation, infrastructure set-up, etc.).
  • Design/drive a robust SAP Transformation project governance structure, being accountable for all project activities including planning, scheduling, execution, resourcing, estimating, risk management, cost/benefit analyses, quality assurance, communication, and deliverables. Guide program and project teams in resolving complex issues during implementation. Identify and remove bottlenecks to ensure smooth progress of the transformation program.
  • Guide and maintain momentum of decision-making across all work streams, including Finance, Commercial Operations, Customer Delivery, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Warehousing/Materials Management.
  • Analyze, resolve, and make recommendations to resolve project issues, considering functionality, cost, risk, and quality, as well as managing and controlling the program budget and project change requests.
  • Prepare/update appropriate business case documents in support of short- and long-term planning initiatives.
  • Create and present financial reports to stakeholders, Finance and Audit Committee Board, Executive Steering Committee, etc. Monitor budget and compliance; rapidly escalating budgetary issues to leadership team.
  • Liaise, partner, and collaborate with heads of business functions, work stream leaders, the executive management team, and our implementation partner, to ensure successful implementation of a multimillion-dollar business transformation.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Program Leadership and Transformational role
  • 5+ years of experience leading SAP S4/HANA implementations across multiple countries.
  • Proven track record of consolidating multiple SAP systems into one integrated system.
  • End-to-end system implementation and transformation experience in SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP S/4 Central Finance at a leading company.
  • Experience working with implementation partners (vendors), while keeping the program on track and managing a multimillion-dollar budget.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills to maintain oversight and effectively orchestrate cross-functional teams to gain alignment, make timely decisions, and deliver results.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP business processes with a deep understanding of SAP S4/HANA standard architecture, design, and processes.
  • Good understanding of financial end-to-end processes in SAP S/4 HANA modules: Accounts Receivable, Billing & Revenue Management, Accounts Payable, Integrated General Ledger, Grants Management and Reporting, Budgeting & Planning, Supply Management and Strategic Sourcing/Procurement, and SAP analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills with the ability to think strategically, and a passion for collaborative problem-solving. Ability to surface and/or recognize potential problems and take proactive measures to mitigate and/or resolve them.
  • Ability and willingness to initiate, develop and sustain effective, cross-functional working relationships using empathic listening skills to gain information, share ideas, sway opinion and gain alignment without direct line authority across functions and countries.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain and present complex information and influence business leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to simply and effectively present information and ideas to audiences of different backgrounds and at all levels, up to and including the C-suite.

Pay is in the range of $153,949 - $188,159 per year.  The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus.  The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
