Program Manager

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Provide guidance and direction to teams supporting the program.
  • Ensures the PMO operates in a manner consistent with the Global strategy.        
  • Oversee Resource Management for the program to create and maintain a proactive view of resource needs and availability.
  • Provide status reports showing KPIs, project status, resource plan outlooks, etc., to Executive Management regularly.   
  • Integrate PMI and CMMI practices into the project teams, establishing measurement systems to ensure these constantly improve.             
  • Lead and guide project managers and workstream leads as necessary.          
  • Experience employing major project management methodologies, including Agile.            
  • A deep understanding of application deployment and solution deployment projects
  • Understand and employ project estimation, revenue methods, and variance reporting techniques.
  • Excellent understanding of project management scheduling SW tools (Microsoft Project or PS NeXT).
  • Extensive experience with Hardware configuration management & change control methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership qualities and the ability to make decisions without perfect information.
  • Ability to positively influence others without direct authority to move assigned projects forward.
  • Excellent change management skills. Ability to accept change and respond to setbacks with minimal disruptions.
  • Ability to work efficiently within a matrix management organization.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development to resources.
  • Willingness to travel about 25% of the time.
  • Operational competency with MS Office Suite.
  • Cloud experience is a plus.

 

 

Required Experience:

 

  • BS, MS in Engineering or Information Systems Management.
  • 10 years of PMO management experience.
  • 15+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Certified Project Management Professional, Six Sigma, CMMI.
  • Experience developing and employing project management artifact standards and best practices (SOW, Task Estimation Plan, Project Proposal, Project Plan, Budget/Variance Report, Status Report, Test Plan, etc.).

Pay is in the range of $106,152 - $169,024 per year.  The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus.  The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.  All candidates are encouraged to apply.
