Job Summary
The Payroll Analyst role is under the direction of the Payroll Manager. The role must have sufficient experience to process full cycle bi-weekly payroll for the NAM Company and support business critical payroll reporting and budget/forecast cycles. The role reports to the Payroll Manager who ensures that the payroll processing objectives are achieved both timely and accurately and in strict adherence to the existing control environment.
Additionally, as one of the primary interfaces between the Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and IT functions; this role is responsible for data integrity and various other system administration tasks which ensure accuracy and completeness of financial and management reporting. This role also assumes a lead role in the processing and reconciliation of Travel & Expense. This role provides end user Concur support to the employees as well as training (as required).
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for processing biweekly & monthly disbursements of multi-state and multi-national payrolls including garnishments, benefits, and taxes of employees consistent with federal and state wage & hour laws
• Processing off-cycle payroll distributions (e.g., bonus, severance, corrections. etc.)
• Manages timecard processing; maintains and optimizes timecard systems (as required)
• Prepares payroll reports including distribution of bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports as necessary for each reporting department
• Adheres to all payroll procedures, processes and controls and/or check lists to verify data integrity as well as assists in troubleshooting data issues
• With Payroll Manager, reviews and analyzes current payroll, benefits, and tax procedures in order to recommend and implement changes leading to best-practice operations
• Assists with payroll compliance audits and payroll aspects of financial audits (with both internal and external auditors)
• Responds to information requests from employees, finance, accounting, and tax
• Coordination with HR for the new year open enrollment benefits
• Fulfills wage garnishment requirements by completing forms, adjusting payroll records, documenting, and transmitting withholdings
• Resolves discrepancies in payroll, initiates journal entries, and provides support to Accounting
• Takes a lead role with the management of Travel & Expense (T&E) reimbursement processing and reconciliation

• Computer proficiency including excellent skills using MS Word, Excel, and Intranet Explorer
• Strong skills using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll accounting system (ADP in particular)

• Solid working knowledge of general payroll protocols, accounting principles and Federal and State regulations
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or Associate’s degree with five (5) years of Payroll/Benefit processing related activities
• Three (3) years’ experience related to personnel/payroll automated system
• Advanced level experience with ADP systems and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements/Safety/PPE/OHSAS:
• Working Conditions: Typical indoor office environment with the majority of time spent sitting and working on a computer using keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Occasional use of other devices such as: phone, copier/printer/fax, etc.
• Physical Requirements: Typical office setting. Required to stand; walk; crouch; or handle objects. Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Ability to sit and view computer screen for long periods of time. The ability to see, hear, & speak in English. • Personal Protection Equipment/Other OHSAS-18001 Safety Requirements: Ensure the continued efforts and assist in achieving annual goals of health, safety, and environmental policies. If required, must be able to work while wearing safety equipment such as hard hats, work boats, gloves, hearing protection, and others.

Pay is in the range of $74,817 - $90,120 per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
