Human Resources Director, SCM, Ops, & Global Learning Administrator

Summary

The Human Resources Director, SCM/Operations & Global Learning Administrator, will primarily serve as the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for the Global Supply Chain Management & Operations (SCM/Operations) senior leadership team in collaboration with globally dispersed human resources team members throughout EMEA, The Americas, and APAC. This is a dual role with global learning administration responsibilities.  In this capacity, you will report to and liaise with the Senior Vice President, Global Head of Human Resources.

 

Human Resources Director / Human Resources Business Partner SCM/Operations

This individual contributor role, serving as the HRBP for Supply Chain Management and Operations, reports directly to the Vice President, Human Resources – Americas & Global Business Partner.  As a trusted advisor to the SCM/Operations senior leadership team, you will be a key player helping them ensure that their business objectives are achieved.  Through partnerships and collaboration with regional HR team members, including support from the Americas HR Shared Services team and Global HR functions, you will  implement human capital solutions in such areas as talent acquisition, retention, and development,  strategic workforce planning, succession planning, cultural transformation,  performance management, and salary reviews. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with the VPHR, Americas & Global Business Partner, and in consideration of the business strategy,  implement the overall Human Resources Strategy to assure attainment of business objectives.
  • Consult, advise, and collaborate with SCM/Operations senior leaders on a broad range of human resources related matters, including, without limitation, talent acquisition, strategic workforce planning, mentoring, career frameworks, succession planning, performance management, salary reviews and leadership development.
  • Serve as a Change Champion in concert with the Supply Chain Management & Operations senior leadership team while guiding the organization through a cultural transformation.
  • Utilizing local, internal talent acquisition resources, participate in the selection of key, strategic leadership hires, especially within the SCM/Operations organization. 
  • Guide the SCM/Operations senior leadership team through the annual salary review and performance management processes in concert and alignment with the Americas, EMEA, APAC, and Global human resources teams.
  • Initiate, nurture, and sustain effective working relationships with the EMEA, Americas, APAC, and Global human resources teams.   
  • Ensure that effective employee relations and communications practices are followed to assure a workplace that is safe, clean, respectful, productive, and free from harassment and any other prohibited workplace behavior. 
  • Participate in select regional and global human resource projects and initiatives, such as best practice exchange with other manufacturing sites.
  • Enhance Employee Engagement and promote an organizational climate that aligns to and adheres to the Company’s values, Code of Business Ethics and Conduct, as well as all local, state, and federal laws.  
  • 100% in-office, except for business travel.

 

Global Learning Administrator

As the Global Learning Administrator, you will report to the Senior Vice President, Global Head of Human Resources, and execute global learning processes while assuming responsibility for the administration of the Global Learning & Development policy. Together with other HR stakeholders and business leaders, you will act as the Process Owner for learning processes and for Learning & Development policy while promoting a culture of learning across Landis+Gyr with these key responsibilities:

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with other Learning stakeholders to administer the online learning portfolio, including LinkedIn Learning, Coursera, A Cloud Guru, and others as business needs dictate.
  • Coordinate and enhance a robust library of learning programs available for global use and adaptation within the regions and functions.
  • Utilizing Power BI and in collaboration with the Head of Global HR Processes and Analytics, enhance and adapt Learning KPIs infused with a diversity perspective.
  • Utilize Global Learning tools to organize, assign, track attendance, record, and report specific learning interventions including  learning portfolio, online learning paths, Learning Weeks, etc.
  • Apply all Global Learning tools specifically for Landis+Gyr’s global and regional technology teams as part of their cloud transformation, interfacing with multinational business stakeholders in our Group Technology Organization, Global IT as well as regional technology teams (e.g., based out of India, Finland, USA, Switzerland, Brazil).
  • Through collaboration and partnering, organize, coordinate, and produce the Learning Newsletter.
  • 100% in-office, except for business travel.

 

Qualifications

The driven, dynamic, motivated, human resources leader we seek will embody the following characteristics:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science from an accredited, four-year, brick-and-mortar university, Masters, or MBA highly desirable.
  • 7 - 10 years of progressively responsible and successful human resources generalist and leadership experience,  in a European-owned, US-based  manufacturing or assembly facility. Whereas the successful candidate will be the current HR leader in the facility or regional headquarters..  .
  • Demonstrated expertise in learning and development, talent acquisition and retention, strategic workforce planning, talent review/succession planning, organizational and leadership development, performance management, and salary reviews.
  • Proven experience in partnering, collaborating, and fostering professional, productive working relationships with European leadership teams.
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods, as well as familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices.
  • Results oriented with a sense of urgency, a bias for action, and the agility to work independently, learn quickly, and adapt to changing priorities..
  • Decisive, data driven and process oriented.
  • Embody a calm, flexible, can-do approach to high pressure, stressful situations with the ability to manage multiple, rapidly evolving priorities.
  • Experience navigating complex, confidential, sensitive employee matters with multiple stakeholders who have competing priorities so as to resolve conflict and restore calm.
  • English fluency required
  • Strong interpersonal, spoken, and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office 365 and sophisticated HRIS, preferably SuccessFactors. Proficient in use of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Ability and willingness to travel globally, as much as 50%, required.
  • Desire, ability, and willingness to maintain an office presence to collaborate and communicate with senior leadership and employee constituencies as the hybrid and work-from-home landscape continues to evolve.

Pay is in the range of $143,100 - $223,740 per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus.  The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
