Position Summary
The Senior Manager CI/CD is a critical function within the Global Technology Office. The role is needed for managing and controlling software build quality and releases. This role is responsible to manage and monitor that development organizations are following Continuous Delivery process and tools. The job requires excellent process and working knowledge of Continuous Delivery tools, test automation and quality processes, and effectively working with other key stakeholders of the product development process. The Senior Manager CI/CD is responsible to ensure testing and development environments are used efficiently, manage deployment environments and support testing activities. Working with the applications change manager this role will support and define build & release schedule and version numbers and identify schedule clashes, raise change requests for releases and manage the retirement of environments. 


Key Responsibilities
Team and people leader for build & release engineers

Owner of the GRD SW Continuous Delivery process, practice and tool set along with EMEA SW Build Management

Work with project management, development, SQA and other support groups to guide and support in SW build practices, SW Branching and daily build activates

Troubleshoot problems in all environments possibly linked to build, branching, tools and release issues 

Responsible to improving build solutions for better quality, speed and robustness

Design and implement Continuous Delivery pipeline for a diverse set of projects with stakeholders from Quality, Architecture, Engineering, and Tech Ops

Responsible to provide product releases artifacts and change history for Development, SQA, Product management and Release manager

Education and Experience
Required Minimum Level of Education: Bachelors Degree
Required Minimum Years of Experience: 10+ to 15


Desired Education/Experience:
    Experience in Build Management or Software Configuration Management
    Leadership experience
    In-depth understanding of Continuous Delivery process and practices
    Track record of working in global organizations and a specialization in complex multi-million dollar programs and with advanced technologies

    Professional maturity to manage a team of high-functioning people and prioritize activities, and the ability to interact with executive leadership across our company and that of our partners and customers
    Experience in leading remote teams in matrixed and global organizations
    Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop people to excel in their jobs
    Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
    Strong collaborative and partnering capabilities
    Proven ability to create vision and execute against that vision in an engaging and compelling manner
    Strong personal drive to achieve the goals and the passion for excellence and delivering business value
    The individual should be self-motivated and result-oriented with a technical aptitude.  
    Takes initiatives and accomplishes tasks with minimal supervision
