Financial Analyst

The Commercial Financial Analyst coordinates with multifunctional groups on deal strategy, risks and solution requirements in order to develop international and domestic financial proformas and debrief/advise leadership on suggested strategy. This individual also works closely with the Commercial Operations team in analyzing and quantifying business growth opportunities. Prepares short- and long term proformas for Company's operations, including operating and capital budgets. Role requires significant interaction with operating businesses often at a senior level. This position is responsible for financial modeling and profitability analysis of opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures effective understanding, analysis and reporting of key deal components in order to accurately build financial proformas, identify deal risk profiles and debrief executive leadership on key deal components/risks.
  • Works closely with sales and commercial operations in order to develop commercial and financial strategies to close new business while maintaining alignment with our profitability goals.
  • Provide pricing strategies/analyses/recommendations to increase win rates.
  • Develop mitigation plans for entire risk profile.
  • Focused on Sales and Contribution Margin analysis broken down by product and customer.
  • Supports and adheres to Company’s core values.
  • Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required.
  • Supports and adheres to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy.
  • Represents Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both internal and external customers.


Education and Experience

  • Required Minimum Level of Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Required Minimum Years of Experience: 2+ to 5
  • Required Education/Experience:
  • BS / BA in Finance, Business or Accounting. 
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced in Excel.
  • 2+ years of relevant business experience.
  • Prior Finance experience particularly in complex financial modeling.
  • Prior market research experience.
  • SAP Experience preferred but not required. 
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered. 



  • Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve complex financial issues and explain to others with and without finance backgrounds
  • Demonstrated deep analytical skills
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced in Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to challenge leaders in the organization
