Landis+Gyr: Director, Risk & Controls Revitalization


About the Role:
Landis+Gyr is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Risk & 
Controls Revitalization. This role is critical to transforming our Enterprise Risk 
Management (ERM) and internal control environments in preparation for our planned U.S. 
public listing in 2026. You will lead the charge in building a world-class SOX compliance 
program, modernizing our ERM framework, and embedding a culture of risk awareness and 
operational excellence across the organization.

Reports To: VP, Group Accounting & Controlling

Type: Full-Time | On-Site


Key Responsibilities:
• Lead SOX Implementation: Own and execute the full SOX implementation plan, 
managing internal and external resources to achieve alignment within 30 days of hire.
• Build the Team: Design and implement a high-performing SOX team structure. Assess 
current capabilities and close gaps by December 31, 2025.
• Modernize ERM: Deliver a unified, executive-endorsed ERM framework that eliminates 
siloed risk assessments by year-end.
• Establish Governance: Set up project governance structures (charters, RACI, 
dashboards) within 30 days and initiate regular reporting.
• Drive Education: Launch a comprehensive SOX and ERM training program within 90 
days, including quarterly workshops and role-specific refreshers.
• Report to Leadership: Deliver data-driven reports with KPIs, risk heat maps, and action 
plans to executives (monthly) and the board (quarterly) within 90 days.

• Proficiency in accounting, reporting, and risk analytics

Pay is in the range of $164,801 - $227,317 per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
