Corporate Communications Manager

For our Global Investor Relations and Corporate Communications team, we are seeking a Corporate Communications Manager. In this position you will report directly to the Senior Vice President Investor Relations & Corporate Communications.


Core Areas of Responsibility/Accountability
    Streamline and further development of cross-regional and cross-functional media and public relations efforts to strengthen the brand in all relevant communications channels
    Develop public relations and communications strategies, storylines, and messaging with the goal of obtaining thought leadership status and recognition
    Expand and develop media contacts while proactively managing and responding to media inquiries
    Interface between external and internal target groups as a central point of contact for external inquiries, including acquired companies
    Create press releases, reports, publications, and articles for trade and public media as well as content for social media channels
    Manage overall projects, including copywriting, for financial and other reports
    Prepare and update presentations for internal and external stakeholders
    Strengthen and further develop internal communication efforts in collaboration with Human Resources
    Support preparation of media events, trade shows and other company events
    Support crisis communications efforts and Investor Relations related communications activities
    Conduct outreach impact analysis
    Collect and aggregate media clippings on relevant topics for various internal distribution channels


Qualifications
    Bachelor’s degree in combination with journalistic or agency training (minimum)
    Preferably a Master’s degree in economics, politics, communications, public relations or media studies
    Several years of relevant professional experience in a publicly traded company of comparable size
    Eloquent storyteller with the ability to translate complex information into engaging content
    Proven track record for building and fostering media relationships
    Demonstrated expertise in project management with the ability to manage multiple evolving projects and priorities across time zones and cultures, supplemented with excellent organizational skills
    Team-oriented and hands-on personality with intercultural mindset
    Excellent English skills (written and spoken); German and any other language is a plus

Pay is in the range of $94,000 - $146,851. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus.  The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
