The Landis+Gyr Co-op program is designed to enhance the quality and scope of learning by providing students with the option of integrating academic study with related, work-based learning.  This first semester rotation begins January 2025 going through April 2025 and applicants must be enrolled in the undergraduate program and available for an alternating rotating semester schedule.  This is a paid position but we don't offer a housing stipend or housing assistance so students will need to live in or around the Alpharetta, GA area to be able to work approximately 40 hours per week in-office Monday through Friday and commit to each of the 3 rotating semesters before graduating.


 
Objectives/Responsibilities
You will assist in making a significant investment in supporting Landis+Gyr Software and Firmware technologies (troubleshooting). The goal is to build an understanding of our product line and start getting an understanding of supporting the technologies so that we can ready you as a resource for hire toward supporting the product or grow into a development or testing resource.
 
Learn the functions and workings of the Command Center, Smart Metering and networking, with a focus on supporting the product.  Once baseline knowledge is established, explore and understand how the underlying code works.
Depending on the level of expertise, move forward with building a support skillset, testing skillset, or a development skillset.  


 
Education/Experience

An undergraduate student working towards a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering. Must be able to work 3 rotating semesters before graduation so would have an expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.
