Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with customers to scope, design, document, implement, and deliver end-to-end solutions to use L+G’s Products to accomplish their business tasks.
  • Architect new solutions and deliver new services, which meet the needs of the customer and are beneficial to Landis+Gyr’s Gridstream Solution in the public cloud as well as private infrastructure.
  • Work directly with customers to create solution designs and resolve any issues related to the solution.
  • Contribute to the Services culture by actively participating in the evolution of best practices, tools, and processes.
  • Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of newly integrated software programs and applications.
  • Support the integration testing phase of software and applications under development in order to identify and remedy potential problem areas.
  • Build relationships with vendors of utility applications deployed in the Smart Grid Energy Services sector to learn about and provide feedback on their technical integration capabilities.
  • Ensure that integration projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
  • Develop standards, best practices, patterns, and processes to support and facilitate integration projects and initiatives.
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 50%)

  • Represent the Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both internal and external customers.

 

 

Education & Experience

  • Required Minimum Level of Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Required Minimum Years of Experience: 2+ to 5

 

Desired Education/Experience: Utility industry and public cloud experience desired. Experience with the Google Cloud Platform is a plus. Experience with Oracle database, Java WebLogic, python, scripting, application sizing, performance and tuning, and development of enhancements are desired.

 

Required/Desired Certifications: Security, Network, Database, and Infrastructure-related certifications. Public cloud provider certifications are a plus.

Pay is in the range of $81,400 - $126,800 per year.  The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus.  The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.  All candidates are encouraged to apply.
