Test Equipment Technician

The Test Equipment Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, calibration, and troubleshooting of test equipment used in manufacturing operations. This role ensures that equipment remains reliable, accurate, and in compliance with quality standards to support production efficiency and product quality.

In this role,  Test Equipment Technician will:

•    Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on test equipment and related systems.
•    Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and software issues in test systems.
•    Support calibration activities to ensure equipment accuracy and compliance with internal and external standards.
•    Document all maintenance and repair activities in accordance with company procedures.
•    Assist engineering teams in the setup, modification, and validation of test equipment.
•    Provide technical support to production teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
•    Collaborate with quality and engineering departments to analyze recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
•    Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure the availability of required tools and materials.
•    Follow all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.

Required Skills:

•    Strong knowledge of electronics, instrumentation, and test equipment operation.
•    Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, and diagrams.
•    Skills in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis.
•    Proficiency in using measurement and calibration tools.
•    Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality standards (ISO, IPC, etc.).
•    Basic knowledge of computer hardware/software related to test equipment.
•    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•    Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Required Experience:

•    Knowledge of programming languages: C#, C++, LabView, ASP. Net
•    Associate degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
•    2–4 years of experience in equipment maintenance, test systems, or related technical roles in a manufacturing environment.
•    Experience with test equipment calibration is strongly preferred.
•    English proficiency (technical reading and basic communication).
