Supply Chain Analyst

The Supply Chain Analyst in responsible for analyzing, coordinating and supporting the planning, purchasing, inventory, logistics and distribution processes, ensuring the efficient flow of materials and finished goods. This position contributes to cost optimization, process improvement and compliance with internal and external customer requirements within a manufacturing environment.

In this role, the Supply Chain Analyst will:

  • Analyze data related to purchasing, inventory, production and logistics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor supply chain KPIs, generating timely and accurate reports.
  • Provide support in demand planning and material sourcing.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, Warehouse and Logistics areas to ensure availability of materials.
  • Identify supply chain risks and propose corrective action plans.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects related to costs, efficiency and delivery times.
  • Support import/export processes ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain updated information in ERP systems and databases.
  • Support internal and external audits related to the supply chain.
  • Support the oversight of critical ERP and IBP master data to ensure seamless cross-functional operations.
  • Support audits of both critical and non-critical components to mitigate risk and ensure alignment with global data standards.
  • Support optimization of consumption based planning parameters to maintain healthy inventory levels and improve supply chain responsivness.
  • To work according of the I.M.S. (Integrated Management System) which includes ISO 9K, 18K, 14K, 27K, and 22301

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge in material planning, purchasing, logistics and inventory.
  • ERP systems management (preferably SAP, Oracle or others).
  • Analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Excel and analysis tools.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different areas.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of foreign trade and Incoterms (desirable).

Required Experience:

  • Ensure accuracy of supply chain data and reporting.
  • Ensure on-time and on-delivery of materials and information.
  • Contribute to cost optimization in the supply chain.
  • Support continuous improvement and compliance initiatives.
  • Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal customers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Management, Logistics, International Trade or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in supply chain, planning, purchasing or logistics, preferably in the maquiladora industry.
  • Experience in data analysis and performance indicators.
  • Intermediate English (reading and writing, conversation desirable).
