The mission of the Safety & Env. Engineer is to prevent accidents and work-related illness, also meet the Environment Health and safety International Standards.
- Control of entry/exit of non-hazardous and hazardous waste.
- Accidents Preventions.
- Manage Ergonomic Programs.
- Safety and Environmental Audits
- Follow-up of Environmental & Hygiene quality Systems.
- To give support to Human Resources and other departments as required by supervisor.
- Fire Equipment control/review.
- To support EHS training Activities.
- Responsible Intelex System Administration
- Other activities assigned by his immediate supervisor.
- To work according of the System of Quality and with Norm ISO-9001 (to adapt itself if it changes the same one).
- Participate and promote a Work Environment with Health and Security Best Practices, also contamination to environment prevention, contribute with ideas and solutions, as well follow the procedures and Best Practices according to Health and Safety /Environment.
- Coordinator of Integrated Management System
- To work according of the I.M.S. (Integrated Management System) which includes ISO 9K, 14K, 18K, 27K and 22301
- To participle on programs as Manage Energy better, Green Initiative” ESD, LAPEM, Measurement Canada.
- To Support security department.

Required Experience:
- Professional career and/or position experience
- Knowledge of state, local environmental, health and safety regulations
- Evacuation plan
- NOM's and international regulations (e.g. EPA, IMS)
- Minimum 5 years experience on Safety, Environmental and Health
- NFPA Standards
