The Quality Manager, Reynosa, is responsible for overseeing and managing the quality assurance and control processes for electronic products and systems. This role ensures that all products meet industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. The Quality Manager leads a team in establishing, implementing, and monitoring quality assurance practices throughout the production lifecycle. This position requires a deep understanding of electronic manufacturing processes, product testing, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement. This position reports directly to the Head of Quality.
Overall Objectives:
- Leads and manages team of engineers & technicians to full fill & exceed quality requirements for products/processes/customers/systems
- Coaches 8D team leaders of customer complaints for manufacturing
- Defines strategy and follow up of internal defect cost (IDC) and fall off rate (FOR) reports and PDCA
- Defines and deploys strategy to maintain the quality system requirements in value stream
- Ensure proper knowledge of the analysis technicians to ensure the correct analysis of the part rejected from production lines
- Conduct ISO, LPA, or VDA based audits, safety audits, reports findings and assists, tracks actions related to the implementation of the corrective measures
- Support the delivery of all the internal PQP, Quality Plans, PPAP requirements of NPI projects
- Utilizes the Corrective/Preventive Action system in conjuction with the Supplier Corrective Action System to ensure quality issues are managed and communicated at the appropriate management levels
- Work seamlessly with Supplier Quality to develop suppliers accordingly to improve our incoming quality, if needed trigger escalation processs

Qualifications:
The driven, dynamic, quality leader we seek will embody the following characteristics:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Excellent spoken and written communication in Spanish and English
- Minimum 5 years oof experience in a quality management role, preferably in electronics or automotive environment
- Capable of working at the detailed engineering level and capable of taking a strong leadership and management approach when required
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), industry standards (ISO 9001, ISO-14001, etc.), and quality assurance methodologies
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC), measurement systems analysis (MSA), and other quality tools
- Provide tecnical expertise to trouble-shoot and eliminate quality concerns
- Ownership of customer complaints for manufacturing and NPI
- Advanced skills in applying Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, CAPA, SCAR
- Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt Preferred)
