FP&A Senior Analyst

The FP&A Senior Analyst partners closely with the Head of Group FP&A, Plant Manager, and Finance Director to support strategic financial planning and analysis for the manufacturing plant. The role focuses on increasing efficiency and profitability by providing accurate financial insights, forecasts, and actionable recommendations. The incumbent prepares reliable monthly financial reports, assists in presentations for management decision-making, analyzes key supply chain and operational metrics, and identifies opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement across the Americas region.

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze financial models to support supply chain planning, cost control, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and KPIs for the Americas region.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to monitor inventory, production costs, and logistics performance.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in supply chain operations and provide actionable recommendations to management.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for manufacturing operations in the Americas.
  • Assist in the preparation of management presentations, highlighting key financial insights, operational performance, and strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, local accounting standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to improve processes, increase efficiency, and optimize costs within the supply chain.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested by Finance leadership or Plant Management.

Required Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes, including inventory management, production planning, and logistics.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP and local accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced Excel modeling.
  • Understanding of corporate budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to convey financial insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree or CPA/CMA certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel tools.
  • Exposure to supply chain finance or manufacturing operations analysis is highly desirable.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple regions (Americas preferred)
  • Fluent english
