Data Analyst, Supply Chain

The Data Analyst collects and analyses data to identify trends and provide clients or management with valuable information that they can use to improve operational and businesses practices. Their main duties include identifying, gathering, analyzing data and making their insights accessible to the company through easy-to-understand graphs, charts, tables and reports.

In this role, the Data Analyst will:

  • Communicate with key stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements. Monitoring data quality and removing corrupt data. Organizaing and transforming information into comprehensible structures. Using data to predict trends in the customer base.
  • Use SQL scripting to extract data from multiple sources, collaborate with multiple data owners, databases, and information sources.
  • Using tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs to identify correlations and patterns
  • Automating manual reports within the Supply Chain organization using a variety of tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL Server, SharePoint and Excel
  • Support the activities associated with the monthly cycle for Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) at L+G. Participate in a working group of stakeholders from appropriate organizations that focus on the alignment of supply and demand
  • Initially review and analyze forecast results in relation to business direction. Identify product or market trends and the best way for the Supply Chain to support. PRovide Business Managers with observations of forecast direction. Reports on Division or Product Family comparisons with budget.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of SAP in order to implement continuous improvement measures in the area of forecasting, Materials Resource Planning (MRP), material master data, and purchasing.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain and Customer Delivery organizations to roadmap continuous improvement projects including AI/ML
  • To work according of the I.M.S. (Integrated Management System) which includes ISO 9K, 18K, 14K, 27K, and 22301

Required Skills:

  • SQL, Power Bi, Tableau, SAP (MMPP-Materials Management/Production Planning), SharePoint, Excel
  • Experience working with large sets of data, solving complex analytical problems, summarizing and reporting results, ability to filter and cleanse data
  • English 90%

Required Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in similar position
  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field preferred
