Are you ready for a new challenge in Accounting? You will work independently on the assigned L+G entity, with many opportunities to showcase your knowledge and expertise. You would join a stable and collaborative GL team, always looking for improvements and ways to level up our operations, so your opinion will count.

Your responsibilities will include:

General Ledger Accounting and Support:
•    Prepare and (or) post various journals throughout the month as necessary – operating and financial lease, accruals/provisions, defferals, prepayments, payroll,various bonuses, hedges, interests, goods intransit, foreign currency revaluation etc.
•    Control journal entry supporting documentation in SAP and additional journal entry approvals 
•    Fixed assets accounting
•    Prepare and post intracompany and 3rd party cost recharges
•    Prepare and submit  intra community reports – Intrastat, EC Sales
•    VAT centralization and preparation of return
•    SAP FI-CO reconciliation prior period close
•    Reconcile balance sheet accounts through a formal BS reconciliation process
•    Active participation in internal and external audits
•    Preparation of various ad-hoc reports for SSC management and  local finance teams
•    Regularly update and improve work instructions

Financial Reporting 
•    Prepare financial statements for monthly reporting – Balance sheet, Profit and loss statement – using SAP (for Balance sheet) and SAP Business Warehouse (for PnL)
•    Upload monthly financial statements to reporting system (IBM Cognos)
•    Reconcile reported data in IBM Cognos, submit additional reporting forms
•    Assist Group controlling team with potential queries resulting from reported figures 

Our expectations:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Management is preferred 
• Relevant experience in Accounting (GL, financial reporting) min. 3 -5 years
• Knowledge of SAP (SAP BW or Cognos or other consolidation tool is a plus)
• Flexibility and client-oriented personality
• Detail and process oriented, organized, and with an analytic mindset
• Ability to solve urgent matters and meet deadlines
• Open-minded friendly approach, active attitude in fast changing environment
• Advanced level of English
