This role is part of Landis+Gyr’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) business, which is expected to become an independent company under new ownership by mid-2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals. Role overview:

To provide effective leadership of the IT intrastructure team within the ITIL plan. To secure availability of IT business applications (SLAs) and manage IT projects delivery etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the IT Infrastructure including network
• Overseeing technical projects in alignment with organizational goals 
• Preparing infrastructure financial budgets and presenting proposals
• Responsible for key IT infrastructure partner management
• Leading efforts to improve IT processes
• Working with information owners to find solutions to manage business activities
• Supervising a team of workers, while working closely with management, external vendors and advisors

Profile:

• A degree in business IT, business administration or an equivalent qualification
• Must have over seven years experience in the IT field including experience in mid-level IT Management
• Strong analytical ability, interpersonal & communication skills and attention to details
• Solid IT Technical Background (formal or experience based)
• Driven, solution-oriented and pro-active work approach combined with a positive “can do” attitude
• Readiness for continuous further training and to keep up-to-date about the developments of products and programs
• Sound knowledge of support, project and process management
• Excellent written and verbal English
• ITIL experience/background
• Communication Skills, both verbal and written
