Customer Project Manager, Senior

We are looking to welcome a Customer Project Manager responsible for managing customer projects to achieve stated aims including overall responsibility for planning, performance, quality and cost. Projects as assigned focus on customer solutions primarily for and existing L+G software/system: head-end system for advanced energy metering (Converge). Projects may cross several functional areas, such as services, operations, or administration. Assignments may vary in length and complexity, but are generally not permanent. This is, however, a permanent employment opportunity.

 

Key Performance Indicators:

Manage Customer projects and other related internal change programmes measured for overall responsibility, project milestones and deliverables, planning, performance, quality and cost.

 

Areas of responsibility/accountability:

Establish and manage budgets, deliverables, milestones and timescales for the programme to ensure all contractual obligations are met
Manage team commitments and resources cross-functionally to ensure profitability for L+G is achieved, customer satisfaction is met, and global corporate policies are adhered to

 

An ideal candidate will bring:
Extensive Project Management skills and experience
Successful track record of managing complex international and cross-functional programmes
Experience in management of multiple stakeholders, with a range of cultural backgrounds, frequently with English as a second language
Ability to manage from a distance, resources who work for other internal organisations
System Management experience, both operational and upgrades
Excellent communications skills and established team player with well-developed influence and relationship management skills


Requirements:

Educated to technical degree level; preferrably holder of university degree in IT / software engineering or related fields or qualifications
B2B utility market knowledge and understanding is of advantage
Project Management qualification and certification (equivalent Prince 2 Practitioner, PMP, Agile)
A self-starter with a determination to succeed, balanced approach and appropriate tact and diplomacy
Strong analytical skills
Fluency in English (written and spoken), Czech/Slovak may be needed depending on project assignments (not a must)
Excellent communication skills
