Key Purpose of Role: 

- Person with a proven track record of testing to complement the existing System Solution Testing team, will be responsible    for building & leading team of techncial test engineers.

- Derive & Lead User acceptance testing for business regions including customer interfaces & 3rd party components.

- Major role will include defining the UAT test cases for End2End client testing, managing client expectations and aligning himself inline with the business priorities.

- Good understanding of Electric Distribution system, well knows the basic use cases of Distribution Utitlities.

- Experienced in setting up Lab for RF devices, DA devices, Smart Equipments, etc. As per the project needs.

- Well understanding of HES/BCS/CMRI/HHU’s/Integration tools in the system architecture. 

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks:

Responsible for End to End, System testing of the product.

Develop full scale test cases, test scenarios & build test automation scripts to ensure efficient deliverables

Effectively communicate project expectations to technical testing team members & stakeholders in a timely & clear fashion  

Well understanding of SDLC/STLC process and its implementation in the projects and its importance.

Identifing Potential risks and applying appropriate test measurements, metrices in the product & testing teams to mitigate the risks

Liase with project stakeholders and delegate tasks & responsibilities to appropriate personnel as per their competencies

Identify & resolve issues & conflicts within the project teams 

Plan, Schedule & track project milestones & deliverables using appropriate tools

Develop & deliver project progress reports, proposals, technical documentations & presentations

Provide customer solutions, specific UAT test cases, environment, and configuration inputs to System Team and program teams for test strategy.

Good To have If:

Experience in test automation, scripting using Python/selenium

Experience in metering domain with proven knowledge of Distribution Automation and DA devices.

7-10 yrs

Qualifications and Additional Requirements

 Relevant tertiary qualification  - B.E/B.Tech(Electrical/Electronics or Relevant domain) , M.E/M.Tech, MCA, ISTQB certified
