Purpose & Objective
- Work in tandem with our operation teams and cloud teams to identify and implement the most optimal cloud and hosting-based solutions for the company
- Provide in-depth knowledge and experience on system management
- Support cloud infrastructure deployment and operations
- Define and document best practices and strategies regarding infrastructure development and maintenance
- Responsible for ensuring efficient operations of Cloud OT infrastructure that meets all committed SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
- Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines
Key Performance Indicators
- SLA performance on OT environments
- Customer satisfaction for the respective area of responsibility (systems management, cloud infrastructure deployments and operations)
- Development and maintenance activities delivered in time with quality
Core Areas of Responsibility/Accountability
- Provide hands-on deployment, support and operations for a Windows / Linux server environment, including virtualization technologies (like Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager)
- Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy GCP environment infrastructure and applications at the direction of lead architects
- Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures
- Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity
- Preserve assets by ensuring CMDB compliance, implementing disaster recovery, backup procedures and information security and control structures
- Write and maintain documentation describing changes and modifications
- Ensure efficient operations of Cloud OT infrastructure that meets all committed SLAs.
- Represent Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both external and internal customers
- Support and adhere to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
- Maintain and develop own skills and capabilities to meet the future requirements of Company’s vision and strategy.
Experience
- Min 8 years' work experience as system specialist and/or DB engineer
- Min 2 years as cloud engineer
- Proven experience in IT/OT system management, DB operations and maintenance and various cloud technologies in practical level
- Experience on working in customer interface for B2B business is an advantage
- Experience on utility IT systems is an advantage
- Advantage is to have demonstrated ability of working in cross functional and international teams in distributed environment
- Ability to adapt to different working styles as per required in multicultural environment.
Educational
- Technical education/Degree, e.g. BS.c or equivalent in Information Science/Computer Science area
