SAP Product Data Management introduction Business analyst / Technical project manager

Job Description

  • Manage and ensure the success of a company strategic Product Data Management (PDM) Process and Tool introduction for the EMEA and APAC regions, based on an SAP-PDM implementation already introduced in North America.

  • Manage various stakeholders expectations (mainly between Global IT, various local R&D teams, Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams), document deviating requirements and drive stakeholder’s acceptance of the deliverables.

  • Understand and document local team’s processes and tool support requirements, derive gaps to existing solutions and bring them into consolidated functional requirements and change requests

  • Drive the successful SAP PLM introduction/migration program for EMEA/APAC, ensuring all regional/local process needs are still met. Ensure the required level of quality of the solution developed.

  • Manage planning, budget, escalations and regular reporting into various boards

  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the internal operational processes. Where required and reasonable, achieve process and work practices harmonisation between various locations and regions.

The Successful Applicant

  • +10 years of experience in the IT private sector and +5 years of experience managing global projects and IT introduction projects with complex requirements over various sites.

  • Solid practical expertise in business analysis applied to the development and introduction of standard Product Data Management (PDM) software solutions (ideally SAP)

  • Able to adapt his communication to different audiences (technical, non-technical, multi-cultural, at different hierarchical levels).

  • Conformable in presenting technical subjects to internal stakeholders.

  • Able to animate and motivate a team toward results

  • Autonomous, practical and pro-active in addressing project hurdles and seeking for reasonable escalation where required

  • Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills

  • Good negotiation, advocacy and conflict resolution skills

  • Ability to influence, motivate other people and adapt leadership style to variety of situations

  • Available as soon as possible.

  • Technical background ideally gained from a past experience as a Hardware or Software engineer.

  • Previous experience in automation of global supply chain, new product introduction and product change management processes and its mapping into a global IT tool is a strong plus.
